The week ahead
Monday, August 31. Jupiter in Leo makes a trine to Saturn in Aries, both at 13 degrees. This aspect only comes around every few years and it is the one you want for anything long term. It means a plan you have been building slowly can actually get approved, funded, signed, or agreed to. Nothing dramatic happens on the day. It feels more like someone finally saying yes to something you asked for weeks ago. If you have a proposal sitting with someone, follow it up today.
Tuesday, September 1. Mars in Cancer squares Saturn in Aries, at the same 13 degrees. This is the most frustrating aspect of the month. It is the day the delivery does not arrive, the form gets rejected for a missing signature, the person you need is off sick, or you spend four hours on something that should take one. Mars in Cancer takes this personally and Saturn does not care. The only thing that works here is doing less and doing it properly. Do not start anything new on Tuesday and do not have the argument you are tempted to have.
There is one helper on the same day. Mercury in Virgo makes a good aspect to Mars, so if you can turn the frustration into a list and work through it, you will get further than you expect. Detail work goes well even when everything else stalls.
Friday, September 4. Last Quarter Moon at 11 degrees Gemini. This is the point in the month where you drop something. Look at what you have been saying yes to out of habit, the group chat, the standing meeting, the favour you keep doing. Friday is a good day to let one of them go.
All week. The Sun and Mercury are both in Virgo, which is why admin, spreadsheets, repairs, appointments, and organising will go better than anything requiring inspiration. Venus is finishing its run through Libra, so social things stay pleasant. If you have a difficult conversation to have, have it this week rather than after September 11 when Venus moves into Scorpio and the tone gets heavier. And if you have a placement between 11 and 15 degrees of Aries, Cancer, Libra, or Capricorn, Tuesday will feel like a wall rather than a bad day, so clear your schedule if you can.
